Fellowship Place Announces Our 2012-2013 Concert Series

Fellowship Place is thrilled to announce our 2012-2013 Concert Series, a series of free live concert performances by local professional musicians in the Phyllis McDowell Center on our campus. Performances to date have included a Jazz Trio, a Horn & Harp Duo, and a Woodwind Quintet. The Concert Series has been very popular and well attended by members of Fellowship Place and visitors from the local community. Concerts to date have included:

The duo, including Emily Boyer on French horn and Colleen Potter Thorburn on harp, gave their second public performance of Russell A. Nadel’s composition Orchard Sunset.

The “Drake Smith Jr. Trio”. Jazz trombonist Drake Smith Jr. was joined by fellow musicians on Bass Cello and Drums. Drake Jr. has played with jazz trombone legends Eddie Bert, Steve Davis and Bill Watrous.
