Full Time Food Service Coordinator
Fellowship Place is recruiting for a Food Service Coordinator for the Healthy Meals Program, which provides daily meals for individuals who attend therapeutic activities on the Fellowship Place campus. Meals served range from 100-150 a day Monday-Friday and 30-40 on Saturday & Sunday. Duties include menu planning, food preparation and serving, ordering supplies, and daily maintenance to keep the kitchen area and all equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. The Coordinator is also responsible for training and supervising a part time Food Service Worker, volunteers, and Food Service interns assigned to the kitchen. Position requirements: HS diploma or equivalent, ServSafe Certification, thorough knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to commercial food services, a minimum of three years experience working in a commercial food service operation with at least one year in a supervisory capacity. Experience in a non-profit setting preferred. Must be able to stand for seven hours a day, reach high shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. Hours 8am- 3:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.
Must have valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle during work hours.
Salary in the $40,000-$45,000 range with health benefits and paid time off.
