Servsafe Class & Exam

September 4 @ 8:00 am - September 25 @ 5:00 pm

ServSafe is a food safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association (NRA). Being Servsafe certified means that you have sufficient knowledge about food safety to earn a certificate.  Servsafe certification is a credential many employers in the food service industry look for when hiring.  Each class will consist of reading the ServSafe Food Handler Guide, watching videos, and testing your knowledge.  Participants who attend all classes will be given a copy of the ServSafe Food Handler Guide, have access to additional study materials, and take the Servsafe exam paid for by Fellowship Place.  Participants who receive a 75% on the exam will receive the Servsafe Certification. Classes will take place in McDowell from 10:30-12:00.  You must be enrolled in Fellowship’s Employment Program to participate in these classes.  Contact Matt Puzemis at 203-401-4227 Ext. 1222 to sign up or for more information.
