FULL TIME  –  Food Service Coordinator for Healthy Meals Program

Fellowship Place is recruiting for a Food Service Coordinator for the Healthy Meals Program, which provides daily meals for individuals who attend therapeutic activities on the Fellowship Place campus.  Meals served range from 100-150 a day Monday-Friday and 30-40 on Saturday & Sunday.  Duties include menu planning, food preparation and serving, ordering supplies, and daily maintenance to keep the kitchen area and all equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.  The Coordinator is also responsible for  training and supervising a part time Food Service Worker, volunteers, and Food Service interns assigned to the kitchen.  Position requirements:  HS diploma or equivalent, ServSafe Certification, thorough knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to commercial food services, a minimum of three years experience working in a commercial food service operation with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.  Experience in a non-profit setting preferred.   Must be able to stand for seven hours a day, reach high shelves and lift up to 50 lbs.  Hours 8am- 3:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.

PART_TIME  –  Food Service Assistant Needed for Healthy Meals Program

Fellowship Place is recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to assist with food production and serving meals in the agency’s day program for adults with a mental illness. This is a part-time, daytime position normally scheduled for 18 hours per week, with extra hours assigned during busy times.

Responsibilities include commercial kitchen maintenance and use of operation of various equipment including commercial dish washing system, ice machine, walk-in coolers, and three bay sink. Successful candidates must be ServSafe Certified, have prior experience with commercial food service operation, including but not limited to preparation of salads, soups, sandwiches and hot entrees. Excellent knife skills and basic knowledge of health code regulations related to food service operation required. Valid driver’s license needed; must be able to stand for up to seven hours per shift and lift up to 50 pounds. Salary $16.00-$16.40/hour, depending on experience. FULL TIME  –  Mental Health Program Assistant Fellowship Inn

Fellowship Place is recruiting for a full-time Program Assistant for the agency’s drop-in day program for homeless men and women who have a mental illness. Duties include outreach, supportive counseling, case management, information & referral, transportation, and group work. BA/BS in Psychology, Social Work or related field or Associates Degree with a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience.  Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. PART TIME  –  Education Specialist for the Supported Education Program

Fellowship Place seeks a part-time Education Specialist for the Supported Education program which assists individuals living with a mental illness enroll and successfully complete an academic or job training program. Responsibilities include education assessment and planning, assisting clients with the GED or college enrollment process, and on-going supports to help clients be successful in school, including help with study skills, time management, and test preparation.  This is an 18 hour per week position.  Hours occur between 9:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.   Salary $18.00 per hour.  Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the mental health field.  Desirable knowledge/skills:  ADA and academic accommodations, applying for grants/financial aid, teaching/tutoring, counseling, and familiarity with higher education. Occasional Use of personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement available.
