FULL-TIME – Employment Specialist 

Fellowship Place, a leading provider of vocational counseling services for mentally ill adults, seeks a full time Employment Specialist. FULL TIME – Mental Health Program Assistant/Recovery Advisor

Fellowship Place, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic support and services for adults living with a mental illness, is recruiting for a Program Assistant/Advisor to work in the agency’s Psychosocial Rehab Center. This position is responsible for outreach & engagement, supportive counseling, and group work. The position plans and facilitates groups and activities that promote recovery from mental illness, independent living, achievement of personal goals, and use of natural resources. The successful candidate must have a basic knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and experience and/or interest in the use of holistic models in mental health, including nutrition & exercise, expressive arts, self-advocacy, and peer support.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related filed or a minimum of two years experience working with people who are mentally ill, preferably in a community setting. Some evenings and weekends required. Salary is low to mid 30’s with paid time off and health benefits. This is an excellent entry level position for recent graduates or those new to the mental health field.

Program Assistant for Computer Learning Center, Part Time

Good opportunity for college student looking for summer employment. Monitor activities in the Computer Learning Center located on the campus of a community based mental health agency. Responsibilities include basic computer troubleshooting, basic system and printer maintenance, and signing out equipment. Program Assistant also provides guidance for agency clients on web searches, on-line job applications, and maintaining an email address. Must be comfortable working with individuals living with a mental illness and be able to maintain an organized and quiet work environment. Requires HS diploma and excellent computer skills; prior mental health service experience preferred. Hours: 1pm -4:15pm, Monday-Friday. Salary $10.25 per hour.  Application Deadline May 23, 2018
