Fellowship Place is hosting GED prep classes from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays during the 21/22 school year. Classes are open to the public and are taught by a teacher from New Haven Adult Education. Pre-registration is required. Fellowship Place has been awarded a 2022 grant award from Pfizer Inc. in support of the agency’s Healthy Meal Program, which addresses food insecurity & nutrition for low-income adults living with serious mental illness who attend therapeutic activities on our agency’s campus. The program provides access to free healthy meals daily.
Thanks to new funding and a partnership with the City of New Haven, the Fellowship Inn drop-in program for the homeless is now open seven days a week. The Inn provides a safe place for the homeless to congregate during the day with access to meals, showers, laundry, lockers, and charging stations for electronic devices. Staff may also help with linkages to primary and behavioral health care, housing, employment services, and government entitlement programs.
