Fellowship Place’s 2016 Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon Celebration on Nov. 22, a Festive Feast!
On Tuesday, November 22, Fellowship Place hosted a Thanksgiving celebration for over 180 clients from across all agency programs. Volunteers from the agency’s Board of Directors and Stop & Shop provided raffle prizes and helped to set up, serve, and clean up after the event. Stop & Shop also donated all the turkeys and contributed many of the side dishes for the feast. Entertainment was provided by in-house band, The Ships, and in-house singing group, the Music Makers, all part of the agency’s Expressive Arts program. Members of the agency’s programs also led the group in a Thanksgiving prayer and shared with each other what they were thankful for this year. A wonderful time was had by all at this annual event, which builds community and hope for recovery among everyone served at the agency.
