Fellowship Place Participated in the Family & Friends Night at CT Mental Health Center

Fellowship Place participated in the Family & Friends Night at CT Mental Health Center on April 6, honoring local employers who hire people with psychiatric disabilities.

Fellowship Place honored Whitsons Culinary Group for Outstanding Employer of the Year.  Whitsons is a large culinary organization that provides food service to both public and private partners.  They have been hiring Fellowship Place Employment Program clients since 2010 into food service positions at various food service sites, hiring a total of 10 clients. One client was promoted into a management position.

Fellowship Place also honored program participant Leslie Porter for Achieving Employment at a job a Yale New Haven Hospital as a Milieu Counselor.
