Fellowship Place’s Expressive Arts Festival a Big Success
Fellowship Place hosted its 1st Annual Expressive Arts Festival on May 4 at the headquarters of Musical Intervention in New Haven. Throughout the course of the evening over 150 people attended the free event, which was supported by the City of New Haven Mayor’s Community Arts Grants Program. Guests were treated to the creative talents of the agency’s clients, including an art exhibit and sale, live performances by Fellowship Place’s seven-piece band, live Poetry readings by Fellowship Place’s writers group, and refreshments & healthy snacks presented by Fellowship Place’s Food Service Training Interns.
Fellowship would like to thank community partners Adam Christofsen of Musical Intervention, and MINDMAPCT, for their support in making the evening a huge success.
