Special thanks to Bench Haven for donating a Friendship Bench to Fellowship Place. The bench is one of 20 benches placed across New Haven to inspire friendly conversations and support for neighbors in good times and bad. The Friendship Bench was developed in Zimbabwe as a way to engage lay workers in providing outreach and support for individuals suffering from anxiety and depression.
