Fellowship Place to take applications for the 2023 CT Renters Rebate program

Fellowship Place will take applications for the 2023 CT Renters Rebate program April 1-Sept. 30. This program provides low-income elderly and disabled residents who paid rent in Connecticut during 2022 with a rebate ranging from $10 to $700. What a great opportunity for people on a fixed income to stretch their budgets! For more info or to schedule an appointment call (203) 401-4227 and ask to speak with a member of Fellowship’s Housing staff.

Fellowship Place Participates in the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program

Fellowship Place is excited to share that our agency has been selected to be a part of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which makes it easy for customers to contribute to their local communities. During the month of January 2023, whenever a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 150 Whalley Avenue in New Haven, $1 will be donated to Fellowship Place. Please consider purchasing a bag or two the next time you are shopping at the store.

Special thanks for your support!

Fellowship Place’s Holiday Celebration with Santa Claus

Special thanks to Will Sherman, Temple Emanuel, & Soundental Associates

Thank you for Caring & Sharing! Fellowship Place Board member Will Sherman with just a small sample of hygiene products and warm weather gear he collected from Temple Emanuel and Soundental Associates, two of Fellowship’s regular supporters. These items will be distributed throughout the new year to walk-in clients to our homeless drop-in program and others in need from throughout the agency.

A special thank you to our corporate partner Kolmar Americas

A special thank you to our corporate partner Kolmar Americas for donating a very large assortment of blankets, backpacks, towels, and hygiene products for distribution to our clients this holiday season and throughout the winter. Kolmar matched contributions made by their employees, thereby doubling the impact of their gifts. Debbie Gianni (left) and Elena Bezus (right) from Kolmar met today with Veronica Vidal, Manager of Homeless Services at Fellowship Place. The agency’s daytime drop-in program for the homeless has served over 175 individuals since July 1. Kolmar’s gifts will be a big help, especially for the unsheltered.
