Full Time Residential Case Manager

Fellowship Place, a community based mental health agency, is recruiting for a Case Manager to provide a broad range of services for single adults who are living with a serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness and who reside in permanent supportive housing.  A majority of clients are formerly homeless individuals.  Responsibilities include intake, counseling, service planning, information & referral, life skills coaching, some transportation and escort service to medical appointments, and assistance with applying for & maintaining entitlements.

Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field.  Prior work experience in mental health and supportive housing preferred. Spanish speaking a plus.  Basic knowledge of Harm Reduction and Motivational Interviewing helpful. Must be a team player with good oral and written communication skills.  Driver’s license and use of car during work hours required.  Salary is $23 per hour with health benefits, paid time off, and 403-B Retirement Plan.

Full Time Receptionist

Fellowship Place, a busy social service agency located in the Dwight neighborhood of New Haven, is recruiting for a Receptionist to greet clients and other visitors, answer phones, and complete a variety of clerical support tasks. Daily responsibilities will include data entry, sending faxes, sorting mail, stocking office supplies, filing, typing, and preparation of simple correspondence. Ideal candidate will have good customer service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Suite, with a minimum of 1 year work experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant, preferably in a social service or behavioral health organization

Sal.  $19.75/hour with paid time off, health benefits,  and 403-B Retirement  Plan.  Hours are 8:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.

Mental Health Program Assistant

Fellowship Place, a nonprofit agency located in New Haven, is recruiting for a full time Program Assistant/Advisor for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center which provides therapeutic group activities, social & recreational activities, and supportive counseling for individuals living with a  mental illness or a co-occurring substance use disorder and a mental illness. Responsibilities include service planning and care coordination with clinical service providers, group planning and facilitation, outreach & engagement, and service documentation in the agency’s electronic database.  Successful candidate will have good motivational interviewing skills, some familiarity with the mental health system of care in Greater New Haven, and group work experience. Some training on Harm Reduction and Person Centered Planning  a plus. Position requires team work and creativity in developing activities that promote recovery, positive use of leisure time, and independent living.  This is an excellent  position for individuals seeking professional development and  a satisfying work experience with vulnerable client populations.

Hours: 9am-4:30pm with some evening and weekend hours as needed. Salary is $23 per hour with comprehensive benefits package including health benefits, paid time off, and 403-b plan. Social Worker Masters Level

Fellowship Place, a mental health agency in New Haven CT, is recruiting for a masters level Social Worker for community outreach and education about mental health and wellness, with a special focus on underserved populations and families of individuals living with a mental illness or a co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder.   Responsibilities will include organizing and attending community events to increase awareness of mental health issues and providing information about available resources.   The successful candidate will develop and organize educational materials and workshops, develop programs for supporting family members, and coordinate activities with other service providers, including peer led groups.

Position requires a MSW degree with experience in community organizing, outreach, & public speaking as well as a   broad knowledge base of mental health, mental illness, and available community resources.  Certification in Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing, SMART Recovery, and/or LEAP very helpful.

Salary range is $48,000-$50,000 annually, depending on experience, with paid time off, health plan, and 403-B Retirement Plan.    This is a good opportunity for a recent graduate seeking a position in a small non-profit agency dedicated to providing supportive services for adults living with a mental illness and their families and   to eliminating the stigma often associated with mental illness.

Position requires evening hours several nights per week and a valid CT Driver’s license.
