Fellowship Place participated in NAMIWalks on Saturday, May 18 at Bushnell Park in Hartford. This annual event raises funds for the CT Chapter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, which sponsors education and advocacy programs for children and adults living with a mental illness.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and as part of the agency’s community relations program, Fellowship Place joined other mental health service providers for an information fair at the QHouse on May 11. Lee Marshall, LCSW, the agency’s Intake and Clinical Services Provider, staffed the agency’s table and greeted members of the public.
More than 100 individuals served by Fellowship Place attended an informative presentation on Narcan and Overdose Prevention on April 30. Thank you to our partner the New Haven Department of Health for bringing this life saving information to our campus community.
Fellowship Place was happy to celebrate Earth Day by participating in the Greater Dwight Development Corporation’s annual neighborhood clean-up. The people served by Fellowship Place appreciate the neighborhood’s support and want to give back to the community when they can.
